MiCasa cares for the privacy and security of every customer. We work diligently to ensure that your data is protected to the highest level.
HTTPS Encrypted Data
HTTPS is an industry standard security protocol that encrypts customer data while in transit between your web browser and the MiCasa servers. You may recognize HTTPS; it’s the same security used by banks to protect financial transactions online.
All users require a password to access MiCasa. Passwords are protected in transit using industry standard encryption, then stored on the MiCasa servers as encrypted hash marks rather than plain characters.
Database and File Backup
MiCasa uses industry standard encryption to protect all user information. MiCasa databases and files are automatically backed up within the managed data center environment.
MiCasa Secure Servers
MiCasa servers are hosted in enterprise-level, managed data centres and monitored by dedicated security teams.
Firewalls protect information stored on all MiCasa servers. Firewalls prevent outside attacks by denying access to server communication ports.
Level 2 File Backup
MiCasa provides another level of protection by backing up information to Vancouver-based servers, managed by VanVPN.
